You don’t have to overeat to be overweight. Being overweight has to do with one’s lifestyle and habits. It’s a simple notion that if you want to be healthy then you need to live a healthy lifestyle. Some habits that cause weight gain are: skipping breakfast, eating a late lunch, eating too fast, eating high-calorie quick meals, consuming too much coffee, and having a sedentary lifestyle. These are all lifestyle habits that many people have because of stressful work schedules and they are going to pay for it if these habits don’t change.[1]
To change these habits is as simple as saying “I will!” Get up a little bit earlier and make a home-cooked breakfast and go for a walk after you’ve enjoyed your lunch break.
