There are many game consoles out there that advertise “brain games” and for the most part, they do help keep your mind sharp. Here are a few alternatives to keeping your mind sharp without sitting in front of a computers screen: work your brain with classic games such as crossword puzzles or Sudoku, constantly learn new things and challenge yourself, stay active with sports that deal with hand-eye coordination or even simply some aerobic exercises, and keep a healthy diet because the brain is very picky about the kind of energy it receives from food.
Don’t forget to believe in yourself! Just because you are getting older doesn’t mean you should give in to “typical” memory loss. Be strong and active and so will your brain.
