Cedar Chips for Moths

You pulled out your clothes from storage and there they are! Little holes in your clothes from moths having a feast! Mothballs are commonly used to take care of this issue, however they are toxic and contain chemicals such as naphthalene and paradichlorobenzene that give off fumes to kill the moths.[1] Here are few natural ways you can save your clothes: cedar is a great moth deterrent, so add some cedar chips or hangers to your bins when storing your clothes. You can also make your own “repellent sachets” by combining cedar chips and lavender, or adding some rosemary, thyme, or dried cloves.

Try natural repellents before chemical ones. They are safer to use and work just as well!
