Check Your Urine Color

By not hydrating providing body with enough water you can experience many unpleasant side effects. Without providing sufficient hydration, headaches, constipation, diarrhea, sleeplessness, and stiff muscles are inevitable. Water is essential in flushing out toxins in your body while assisting with important bodily functions. A simple way to know if you are well hydrated is to check the color of your urine. If it is darker than pale yellow, then your toxins are not being flushed out. Luckily, dehydration is 100% preventable; all you need to do is drink up.[1]

If you find your urine to be darker than a light yellow, you need to hydrate. Women should strive for around 9 glasses a day, while men should strive for 13. Pace your drinking out by starting with a glass of h2O first thing in the morning.
