Wash Raw Vegetables with Vinegar

There’s no more need for the expensive vegetable washes!  You can make your own using a spray bottle, white vinegar and water.  For hard-skinned fruits and vegetables: fill the bottle with equal parts of white vinegar and water and then spray your produce rubbing in the mixture and then rinsing.  For soft-skinned fruits and vegetables: fill a bowl with equal parts of white vinegar and water and then soak your produce for a minute and then rinse.  The acid in the vinegar kills off the bacteria, wax and pesticide residue found on most produce.[1]

Try this all-natural and inexpensive wash to make sure your vegetables are clean and healthy for your body!
