Coconut Oil to Increase Metabolism

Coconut oil did get a bad reputation awhile back when diet trends were highly anti-fat.  The oil used in those studies were hydrogenated oil.  “Virgin” coconut oil has no cholesterol; it contains medium chain fatty acids, which is easier for the body to digest and metabolize, and it also helps curb your food cravings by allowing your body healthy fats.  In a healthy diet our bodies need good fats, such as virgin coconut oil, to help produce hormones, cellular membranes, and to aid in the absorption of vitamins and minerals.[1]

Try virgin coconut oil instead of the normal oils or margarines you use.  The better your body metabolizes the fats you intake, the better you’ll feel.
