It usually begins New Years Eve with the resolution to finally lose those 10 pounds. When the weight is lost, you relax and the weight comes back on. Then you make a new resolution to lose the weight again for the summer season. You lose it and then it comes back again. This trend is called yo-yo dieting and it’s more of a health risk than you might know. People who are on this trend are more likely to have issues such as: liver problems, loss of muscle, lower metabolism, heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, cancer and shortened life span. A healthy lifelong lifestyle is the ultimate way to go. Going back and forth on your weight is only going to lead to more issues. Start small and make the changes a habit!
