Dark Room for Good Sleep

Sleeping in a dark room does more than give you some good beauty rest.  Research has shown that children who sleep in a completely dark room are less likely to develop myopia, or nearsightedness.  Even those that slept with a simple night-light had a higher percentage of developing myopia.  Research also shows that women who stay up late, work late hours, or sleep with the light on are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer because the light exposure at night interferes with the hormone melatonin, which aids against cancer.[1]

Sleep in a completely dark room and set a routine!  Your body will get the rest it needs, which will help you stay healthy!
