You may think you should shave your legs before getting a pedicure at a nail salon, but don’t!
Freshly shaven skin opens you up to bacteria that can cause infections in your skin. The next
time you plan to get a pedicure at a nail salon, be sure to not shave your legs for at least 24 hours.
It is easier to contract bacteria from pedicure tubs if your legs are freshly shaven. Avoid shaving
until after a pedicure and request your tub be rinsed with disinfectant before you start to soak.
