Go for Garlic

An apple a day keeps the doctor away…the same goes for garlic!  Garlic has been known as a natural “cure-all.”  Garlic has great antioxidant and blood cleansing properties; it is also great for cardiovascular health and high cholesterol.  Garlic has 1% of the potency of penicillin that makes it a great antibiotic and unlike other antibiotics; bacteria cannot develop a resistance against it.  Two-three cloves of garlic can help prevent a cold, but don’t take too much as it can irritate your digestive system.[1]

Add garlic to your meals and enjoy the health benefits.  Remember to not microwave garlic as it kills the active ingredients!
