Grape Juice for Blood Clots

The Journal of the American College of Cardiology published a study that purple grape juice prevents dangerous blood clots more effectively than aspirin.  These purple grapes have flavonoids that reduce clotting of platelets by about 40%.  The similar effect can be achieved with red wine.[1]

Enjoy a glass of red wine or 100% fresh grape juice to reduce clotting of blood.  Remember, aspirin can cause many side effects. The most common is internal bleeding.
