How to be a Centenarian

Centenarians are still a bit rare, but according to recent research they are growing in numbers.  There were an estimated 50,454 centenarians in 2000 and by 2050 there is an expected growth to number more than 800,000.  So, what’s the secret?  Genes and healthy living are definitely factors, but the surprising factors are attitude and personality.  How centenarians reacted to life stresses and changes as well as keeping a happy open mind made the difference to gaining some years.[1]

Let’s keep an attitude of happiness and take things lightly to live healthfully for a hundred years.  Laugh often and don’t let life get a negative hold on you.
