Eat Slowly to Lose More Weight

Research has shown that eating slower can help a person keep that leaner waistline. By taking your time to sit down and enjoy your meal in a relaxing setting, you will actually consume less. It takes our bodies approximately 20 minutes to tell the brain that it is full, however if we rush through our meals because all we can think about is hunger and deadlines then we are actually consuming more food. The slower you eat in those 20 minutes, the less food you will eat and the more relaxed you will be! [1]

Take your time eating your breakfast by preparing the meal the night before. Enjoy your lunch breaks at work! Most people hurry through them, but if you take your time you will be more relaxed and healthier for the rest of the day.
