How to Reduce Stress at Work

Your career can demand high psychological stress without control, discretion over tasks, or autonomy.

Take three deep breaths every half an hour to release tension.  Get up from your chair after the breaths and look outside a window to briefly relieve your eyes and mind from your tasks.  Set aside an hour or two each morning, preferably without taking phone calls, and perform the most difficult tasks during this uninterrupted, most productive time of the day.
