Junk Thoughts are like Junk Food

When you eat junk food, your energy levels drop and you feel regretful and low. Junk thoughts can have the same effect as junk food. For example, when you think to yourself “I’m the kind of person who constantly gets sick, I know I’m going to catch a cold,” you are more likely to actually get sick. Your body pays attention to your brain’s thoughts, so work on producing positive, uplifting thoughts instead.*

Let’s work on thinking positively! Even if it’s only for a few hours a day, make an effort to push negative thoughts aside. Focus on the good things in life, celebrate your successes and visualize future wins.
