Manage Mid Day Caffeine Consumption

It’s important to make sure that your last caffeinated drink is consumed at least 6 hours before your planned bedtime. Why? Because it takes 6 hours for your body to fully process and rid itself of caffeine, and if you drink it past this window you may find it difficult to fall asleep. If you go by this rule and are still feeling fatigued, try eliminating caffeine altogether, as it may be compromising the functionality of your adrenal glands.*

If you can’t help but crave a caffeinated beverage later in the day, try to find an appropriate alternative. Coffee lovers can get the same soothing warmth from chamomile tea or hot water and lemon. Soda lovers can get the same refreshing bubbly fix from chilled sparkling water or club soda.
