Move More and More Often

We all know that exercising is important, but you may be surprised to learn that moving is more important. People usually exercise at either the beginning or end of the day, but what about the rest of the day? It is unhealthy if the rest of the day is spent mostly sitting and not moving. One 5-mile walk is not nearly as beneficial as five 1-mile walks throughout the day. We must keep moving to support good posture, stretched muscles and overall health.*

You can make a commitment to move more. Try stretching at the top of every hour, taking the stairs, parking in far-away spaces, doing squats while brushing your teeth, or calf raises while washing the dishes.
