Pack Before You Overeat

Practice your portion control! Eating out is fun, but it can cause havoc on your body from overeating and all the extra calories.  Remember a few simple tips and you can relax a little more at the table.  If you’re eating out with a loved one, try sharing an entrée. Most restaurants will split the dish onto two separate plates so it looks more appealing.  Also, ask for a to-go box right away!  Packing half your meal will save you from overeating and give you some great food the next day.[1]

Strategize before you order!  You don’t have to skip the entrée you want, just pack half of it away for tomorrow or share it with a loved one!  It’s that easy.
