Reduce TV Time to Add More Life

It’s a relaxing way to unwind after a long day, but research has shown that too many hours in front of the TV could shorten your life expectancy. The research estimated that people who watched an average of six hours a day lived around 4.8 years fewer than people who didn’t watch any TV. More alarming is the statistic that showed that people who smoked lost an average of 11 minutes of life for every cigarette. That statistic is the same for those who watched 30 minutes of TV. Even if you adjust your diet, sitting if front of the TV is bad for your overall health.[1]

Add more life to your life! Turn off the TV, get off the couch and do something fun! Being active will add health, happiness and time to your life.
