Stop Showering Every Day

Most Americans shower every day. In fact, daily showers are the global average. However, showering every day can upset the delicate balance of the beneficial oils and bacteria on your skin. Rather than showering every day, dermatologists suggest showering every two or three days instead.*

Do your best to shower in lukewarm water, as hot water can dry out your skin. If you must shower every day, skip soaping your entire body all of the time and only use soap on your underarms and groin area.
