Take Deep Breaths

Taking deep breaths not only calms the mind, but has other health benefits such as: lowering blood pressure, slowing the heart rate, relaxing muscles, reduces insomnia and anxiety, increases energy, and is also very beneficial to the lymphatic system.
Every part of our body relies on oxygen and when you take a deep breath, you are allowing more oxygen to enter the body and more toxins to leave.[1]

Take a moment during your busy day and inhale deep through your nose and out through your mouth.  Take three deep breaths at a time. You will feel the benefits!
