Tea Tree Oil for Smelly Feet

Foot odor is embarrassing for anyone!  At least one-third of people suffer from smelly feet.  In such a fast-paced world, our feet work overtime.  They are home to 250,000 sweat glands, which can produce around one cup of sweat per day.  Since our feet live in shoes, the sweat cannot evaporate as it does on the rest of our body.  Sweat is used to regulate our body temperature and mix that with the bacteria growing on our feet and you have a bad odor.[1]

Tea Tree Oil is a great antifungal and antibacterial remedy.  Add 5 to 10 drops of tea tree oil to warm water in shallow pan and soak your feet for 10 – 15 minutes nightly. You can also add tea tree foot powder in your shoes too.
