Tell Others “Non-GMO”

A genetically modified organism (GMO) has been altered scientifically using genetic engineering techniques such as Monsanto’s “Roundup Ready” soybeans. Studies have linked GMO foods to increased risk of cancer, food allergies, accelerated aging, damage to your immune system and increased susceptibility to super viruses. There are currently eight major GMO food crops on the market: soy, corn, cottonseed (used in vegetable cooking oils), canola (canola oil), sugar beets, Hawaiian papaya, some varieties of zucchini, and crookneck squash.  The European Union has banned use of all GMO products, due to the dangers and unknown risks of long-term consumption.[1]

Tell others about the risks of eating GMO foods.  When you buy any products, look for “Non-GMO” labels.  Support the Non-GMO movement by going to www.nongmoproject.org and www.responsibletechnology.org.
