Think Positively for Your Health

The average person experiences 50,000-70,000 thoughts per day. Out of those thousands of thoughts, how many are negative? Negative thinking does more than just bring down your mood, it can lead to unnecessary stress, anxiety, or depression. In one study, participants with the most cynical thoughts had an increased risk for developing dementia or heart disease later in life.*

Your mind can only process one thought at a time, so make an effort to hold onto only positive thoughts. When a negative thought enters your mind, practice replacing it with a more supportive or hopeful thought.
