Wear Your Seat Belt

A seat belt is a simple thing that takes seconds to apply and yet, can help give you a long lifetime with family and friends. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 15,000 lives are saved each year because they decided to take a few seconds to put on their seat belts. Seat belts protect you in many ways: they keep you inside the vehicle, they restrain your body during a collision helping protect the brain and spinal cord, they spread out the force of an accident over your body, and they slow your body down. Put your seat belt on and don’t put the car in drive until all your passengers have their seat belts on! Set a good example and help save lives!
