What Causes Migraines

Migraines affect 18% of women and 6% of men in America.[1] Migraines are not just any headache. They are severe throbbing pain that can keep you home from work, disrupt your family life and leave you significantly disabled. Alcohol (beer and red wine), irregular meals, irregular sleep pattern, Aspartame (NutraSweet), MSG, nitrates in processed meats, tyramine in cheeses, baked bread, chopped liver, perfume, caffeine, and gluten in grains can cause migraines.

If you have migraines, you should avoid the above foods or behaviors. Check to make sure you are not allergic to any of the substances above or other artificial ingredients.
